In the years following World War 1 the United States experienced
economic prosperity that helped them establish an American culture in several
ways. This is because the
businesses during WW1 were doing well since they didn’t have much competition
overseas. Since men were receiving
money from war and the women were working, families got double the money and
were able to get more money to spend on leisure’s.
This created American sports heroes, the Harlem renaissance,
Fundamentalism, the Jazz Age, and the Prohibition Era.
All of these were either new cultures or ways of life that Americans had
due to more free time from new technology.
